Title

Script step to copy web content doesn't work in Windows

Post

I have a script that checks mileage from Mapquest, by copying a web viewer content, pasting into a text field, then extracting the number after "Total Est. Distance: " The problem is, this only works on the Mac version. The Windows version will not select the web viewer content. The user must manually select the content to be copied. The script looks like this:

• Go to Object [Object Name: "Web_viewer"]

• Select All

• Copy [Select]

• Paste [Select; No style; File name::Map text]

• Exit Script []

I have had to alter the script for use on Windows:

• Go to Object [Object Name: "Web_viewer"]

• If [system platform is Mac

•   Select All

•   Copy [Select]

• Else

•   Pause [Indefinitely]

• End If

• Paste [Select; No style; File name::Map text]

• Exit Script []

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with FileMaker Pro for Windows and Web Viewers?
