Shouldn't need a script.
You can use an Auto-enter calculation setting on the radio button field:
If ( color = "White" ; "English" ; Self )
Clear the "Do not replace existing value..." option if you want the radio button field to update time the color field is edited.
That worked fine, but a slight problem.
In the event I want to select a different radio button (there will be rare occasions), I can't. It's locked.
How can I "unlock" it, so to speak, to manually override the auto-enter calculation once in a while?
Thank you! Jd
Select the "Do not replace existing value..." option. Now changes after the fact can be made to the radio button.
If that doesn't work in all situations (The auto enter won't work now if there is a value selected for the radio button), you may indeed have to use a script with a script trigger set on the color field to change the value of the radio button when you exit the color field.
