Title

Scriptmaker compound finds using AND or OR (and finding an empty/blank field)

Post

Hello,

I am using FM Pro Advanced 9.

I am new to Scriptmaker, and I am having trouble making a compound FIND.

I happen to be looking for students who are currently enrolled and whose language is not English.

The commands are simple in FM:

FIND

  language>0

and put "=" in the Exit Date field, without quotes.

Questions:

How do I perform a FIND with AND

(I have read about New Record/Request, but how do I make the next request AND or OR?)

What do I enter to find a blank field? (Would be just "=" in FM.)

How do I add a FIND that would use OMIT in FM?

Also, what does the RESTORE part of Find[RESTORE] mean?

Also, where is the documentation for this? I can't find it anywhere.

Thank you in advance.
