Title

Search for a specific text sting, then if present,  copy the field contents to another field

Post

Hi FMP fans.  I apologize in advance if this has already been answered in the forum but I've searched for days and cannot find a solution.

I have downloaded our company's customer list via ODBC from our UNIX server.  I need to separate the PO Box addresses from the street addresses.  Basically, I need to search the address field for the word "box" and if it is present, copy the address field contents to another field I have created for PO Box addresses.

Can the PO Box field be setup as a calculated field or do I create a script?  Please help!

Thanks

Todd
