Self-taught--does FMP allow for html-like links that will open an item-specific details page?

      Post

Last year I designed a database to keep track of LAND and GAS WELLS records, having converted data from paper-pencil books to FMP.  To setup the database I modified the ASSET MANAGEMENT template with data fields that suit my needs. I would like to re-design the database now so that I can list all the gas wells on a given piece of land on a layout page that is specific to that piece of land. I wish to be able to click on a given gas well name and be taken to a details page about that well, in a similar way to how hyertext links work.  Can I do this on FMP without having to assign a button for each well that is scripted to take me to another page?  If so, how do I do this?  Thanks in advance for your help.  Still pouring through FPM Manual for answers too.
