A single script can save the PDF and then attach it to an email sent out with Send Mail.
How to use a script to save a PDF: Found Sets to PDF with unique file names
This method uses a $path variable to specify the name and location of the PDF file thus created.
In the Send Mail dialog, you can click the Attach check box and type in the name of this $Path variable in order for your send mail step to attach the PDF generating by the save as PDF script step.
Note: a good location to specify for this $Path variable is the Temporary folder.
