sending an email from outlook and auto-generate a field entry
I would like to be able to send/receive an email in Outlook and have that event be recorded in FM. In my Contacts layout in FM I have an area to post a note related to that contact.
any idea how to do this? Any help would be appreciated. thanks so much.
Hmmm, I can tell you a way to log the sending of emails, but not receiving them. You'd send the emails from FileMaker using the send mail script step and the same script can then log the sending of the email, this can include capturing your note information to log in the table.
Anyone know of a way to work this for the reception of emails?
