      SequeLink Error:2308

      Post

Trying to open files from last year via Excel getting two messages:

      1) SequeLink Error:2308

      2) Microsoft Office Excel Security notice - File Path:...... Data connections hae been blocked.  If you chose to enable data connections, your computer may no longer be secure.

Checked space, check security settings, checked ODBC to make sure everything is enabled.  Still getting the message.  Have tried everything short of reinstall.  Running FileMaker 9

          Thank you for your post.

It is difficult to determine where the problem lies.  I would suggest removing the ODBC driver and then reinstall, setting up the reinstalling the ODBC driver with a new DSN, port 2399, etc.  Then, go into Excel and use the new DSN to connect.  Make sure port 2399 is not being blocked.
