      Show only current record from Printable View Preview

      Post

           I have a layout trigger enter script for a printable view that takes the user directly into Preview mode. The only problem is that it will not preview the current record, it previews a different record. When I click print I am able to manually select "Current Record", and it will print the correct one. Does anyone know how to resolve this so it will only show the current record in the Preview?

           Thanks!!!

               Preview mode previews all the records in your found set starting with the first record in that found set. To preview just the current record, manipulate the found set to get a found set of just that record.

               Show All records
               Omit Record
               Show Omitted Only
               Enter Preview Mode

               Works in single user databases and most all the time in multi-user databases.

               A find script that finds only the current record will work in all cases:

               Set Variable [$ID ; value: YourTable::PrimaryKey]
               Enter Find Mode[] ---> clear the pause check box
               Set Field [YourTable::PrimaryKDy ; $ID ]
               Perform Find []
               Enter Preview Mode

                 Thanks for the help! The first option works good for me, I just added Show All to the exit script.
