IWP limits it to 25. You will have to build a paging system to go to the next / prev set of records.
How do I go about creating a paging system in FileMaker for IWP?
Pass in a Script parameter value of "Prev" and "Next" on buttons.
If [ Get (ScriptParameter) = "Prev" ]
Go to Record [ Get (RecordNumber ) - 25 ]
Else If [ Get (ScriptParameter) = "Next" ]
Go to Record [ Get (RecordNumber ) + 25 ]
Thanks... i've been looking for a solution to that problem.
This may be a silly question, but do you just create one button for this script? Or do you create one previous button and one next button and if so, what script exactly would apply to each button? Thanks!
You can just create a Next and a Previous button and assign a single script to each.
The Next button script would read
Go To record/request [Get(recordnumber) +25 ]
and then -25 for the previous button.
I am not sure if there is any disadvantages/advantages to doing it this way over the way Mr_Vodka suggested earlier, but I'm sure he will comment if there is.
Keeping the functionality in one script with passing parameters is just a preferred method. In this case, the functionality is navigating records. Keeping 2 scripts for a trivial script step is just overhead.
I did find a setting for pagesize, and it is set to 25. This is defined in iwpinfo. I can't locate where this is set so I can change it to a larger number.
You cant. That is the limitation. You can have up to 50 in table view. You can try using a portal instead.
