      Solution -- Removing Blank Lines From Mailing Label, When You Cannot Use The Sliding Format.

      I figured this out and thought other might find this useful.

      When creating mailing labels, you can format the labels so that there are no blank lines in the label (see Format, Set Sliding). However, there are other times when you need an address block, but you cannot take advantage of the sliding option. As a result, I created a field called AddBlock and I replace the field with the following. Note that I use the substitute function to remove blank lines in the address.

      Substitute (

      YourDatabase::NameFirst & " " & YourDatabase::NameLast & "¶" &

      YourDatabase::AddStreet1 & "¶" &

      YourDatabase::AddStreet2 & "¶" &

      YourDatabase::AddCity & " " & YourDatabase::AddProvince_State & "¶" &

      YourDatabase::AddCountry & "¶" &

      YourDatabase::AddPostalCode

      "¶¶"

      "¶" )
