    Spreadsheet section in FileMakerPro



      Spreadsheet section in FileMakerPro


      I am just starting in FileMakerPro. Would like to know if it is possible to have a whole section in a database (in the body or in a Tab section) as a spreadsheet to make calculations about a project cost. Later to have the results appearing as individual fields as sub total costs in other sections of the record.


      FileMakerPro 10, iMac G5, MacOs 10.4.11.

             If you create another table to hold the costs and calculated fields and relate this table to your main table (one-to-many relationship), then you can add a Portal to your project layout in the body part with tab control.  It is not a spreadsheet per se, but does have columns and rows.
