Strange Problem With PDFs & E-Mail
We are an educational charity and we use Filemaker Pro 10 to run a booking system for lectures and guided walks. Once a person is booked in we then print them off a personalised ticket by switching from a list to a different layout. Sometimes the people are unable to collect tickets in person so we send them out via e-mail and the easiest way to do this is to view their booking and then Save/Send As PDF.
However in about 30% of cases, completely randomly, the recipient does not recieve the e-mail. We have switched from using our usual POP 3 e-mail to an online e-mail account with Gmail but are still getting the same result, so obviously the problem is not with the e-mail its the PDFs that Filemaker is creating. has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have any suggestions?
