Substitute for 'perform applescript' for use on windows platform?

Post

We are operating a database in FMP 6 and have recently moved from mac to windows. Having a problem with a letter rendering script that uses the Perform AppleScript function. Can anyone suggest a substitution or other solution to this for this to work on windows? This is the subscript that uses the Perform AppleScript:

If [ 1=1 ]
Perform AppleScript [ Script Attachability: Script Text:
"global fixedText
tell current record
set {s, r} to {cell "gCurrSubFieldName", cell "gCurrSubFieldData"}
set t to cell "LetterText" as styled text
my ReplaceText(s, r, t)
set cell "LetterText" to fixedText
end tell
to ReplaceText(sWord, rWord, sText)
try
set fixedText to ""
set TIDs to AppleScript's text item delimiters
set AppleScript's text item delimiters to {sWord}
set itemList to text items of sText as list
set AppleScript's text item delimiters to {rWord}
set fixedText to every item of itemList as string
set AppleScript's text item delimiters to TIDs
on error
set AppleScript's text item delimiters to TIDs
end try
end ReplaceText
" ]
End If

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!!
