Container fields store files of any file type so if you can use your camera to generate an image file such as a JPG file, you can insert it into a container field. How you get that image file will depend on any software you have that comes with Surface Pro that allows you to use the camera.
What I was really after was a field that I could select and it would bring up the camera and the photo that was then taken would be stored in that field.
That won't be possible from FileMaker unless some enterprising plug in developer has produced a plug in that can do it.
You can do that in FM GO with an iOS devices as the programmers were able to add code to FM GO that does this using Insert From Device, but this is not an option for FileMaker Pro.
