Switching from Palm TX to something better - is it Filemaker, then somehow accessible on iPod touch?
I received a call from a spry, yet elderly physician asking for a suggestion on a replacement for his aging Palm TX. All his data is backed up on a PC using Palm Desktop. He carries and uses that old Palm daily, for accessing and adding to the database and for using a program called Epochrates, an app that aggregates info about medications and drug interactions. He is adept at and likes the Palm handwriting recognition. Is there a seamless way to export the Palm database, then import into Filemaker and then to an iPod touch? He thinks he can adapt to the virtual keyboard on the iPod touch. Your thoughts and suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you!
