Is the Date and Time field a timestamp? When you want hour, do you want to ignore minutes? If the answer is yes to both of these questions then you need a calculation (result is number) as: Hour ( Date and Time ). It will produce the time's hour in military time.
If not, we need more information.
yes is a timestamp, I want both hour and minutes
Make the result of the calculation time instead of number. The calculation would be: GetAsTime ( Date and Time ). If you do not wish to display the seconds then set the time format (layout level) to hhmm.
the result is nothing, the script is:
search [resume]; (the product with the field not empty and owned by production)
go to the last record
set field [registro_partenze::ora;GetAsTime ( registro::check)].
the table "registro" is a remote data source, linked with the local table "registro_partenze" by a field (both "no")
It shouldn't be a script - it should be a calculation. I'm afraid I can't tell from your response what you are really trying to accomplish. Can you explain in more detail why you need a script? If it is an external source, do you have it as an ESS in your graph?
So, I'm making a db where register the shipping, there are 4 field, the number of goods shipped, and 2 time fields, one where insert the time when the van leaves, and one where insert the time of the last product of the production department. The production department use another db, with a time and date field to indicate when one good is finished. I want insert that time in the first db.
