This file could not be imported because it is password protected.

      Post

I have a separate data source (.xlsx) that is password protected from another department that I have written a script to import the data when my database is opened and then drops all of the data in the table when I close the database to ensure that I have the most updated information in my table whenever I open my database.

It has been working file for a couple of months without me having any password issues until just recently I recevied the message "This file could not be imported because it is password protected."  The department that publishes the .xlsx file has indicated that they have not changed anything about how they have password protected the file however I am no longer able to import the file from the script.  In fact I am not able to import the file manually either.

Is there a way to open a password protected .xlsx file within a script and at the same time have the script automatically enter the password for the .xlsx file?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
