Trim Leading Zeroes?
I have a bunch of records with a 'time length' field, formatted 00:04:58. Is there a script or function that would allow me to trim the leading zeroes, resulting in 4:58 instead? Thanks.
If this is a field of type time, you can use data formatting in the inspector to achieve this result. Enter find mode, select the field and then scroll the Inspector's data tab all the way to the bottom to find the controls that can be used to specify a data format. Click the control for time formatting and then select the time format options that you want.
Unfortunately, this is not a time format. It's a text format.
And why is that? Why not make it a field of type time?
Worked after removing the AM and PM from the data formatting options in the inspector. Thanks! :-)
