If they have not answered "Yes" what value will be in this field? Will it be blank or will it be "No"?
Assuming that it is blank....
Enter Find Mode
Set Field[GRS latest Converted::Local Group Request; "No"]
Set Field [GRS latest Converted::Name of Local Group ; "*"]
Set Field [GRS latest Converted::Group Leader ; "="]
Set Error Capture [on]
If the field will be "no", then change "=" to "No". If it could be either add one more request with "no" in place of "=" in the third request.
Watch out for the local context as well...
If you run the scripts stated above from within a found set, it will only show the results that were also in the found set in which you started.
If you want the scripted find to look at ALL records that don't have the mentioned criteria, insert a "Show All Records" step as the first line of the script. If you do want it to run within the local context only, then stay with the approach you are already discussing.
Another approach is to script the opposite of what you've been doing. Instead of looking for what to omit...look for what you want to keep and use Extend Found Set instead of the Omit Record.
No Show all records is needed unless you use Constrain Found Set in place of Perform Find.
Even when using Omit Record only?
Yep. Omit record, while in find mode, is the equivalent of entering find mode and clicking the omit button in the status area.
Learned something new today...thanks.
