Title

Unwanted(?) "pinfo" record created at every import of a photo set

Post

I'm very new to FileMaker

I was recently dropped into a pre-existing and somewhat well-established FM setup for a new job. I am not in IT but after being asked to stumble my way through a self-taught surface-level understanding of how FM works, I have noticed that every time I attempt to import a set of photos into a record, a file named "pinfo" is saved that I have been told to simply delete.

First, I'd like to know what "pinfo" is exactly. Is it useful/necessary?

Second, assuming it's not necessary, is there a way to ensure that the file is not created on Import?

I would be happy to attempt to compile the various scripts that run the Import function that has been laid out, but hopefully this is something that someone will have a pretty quick fix to!

Thanks
