      User Account issues

      Post

So I've set up some dataentry privilege sets and then some User accounts.  On testing the admin access, naturally all is okay because there is no restriction, but the Users get a warning message whenever they move to the client's layout or if they change record on the client's record.

"Your access privileges do not allow you to do this"

The only thing they have been restricted from doing is deleting records.  The Client layout has a portal to policies on it.

So how does one debug this problem?

Using FMP 10 Adv with SP3

Well, you'll need to put your file under a microscope and experiment to see why you're getting the message. Anychance your user is triggering a script that might trespass on your access restrictions? If you have advanced, you can enable the script debugger, then go through the motions to see if a script trigger such as onLayoutLoad is involved. Otherwise, you have to carefully go over every possible cause.
