      Users Guide & Tutorial "Cannot be Found"

      After installing FM11 Pro (Mac) Upgrade, the following files are not accessible through the Help Menu:

      Users Guide; Tutorial; ODBC Guide; JDBC Guide

      The following error message is displayed: "Some of the files that are required to complete this action cannot be found. Please reinstall to restore any missing files."

      When I checked the FileMaker Pro 11 folder in the Applications Folder, the files are contained in English Extras>Electronic Documentation. So they're on the hard drive but not accessible through  FM11 Pro Help. I tried reinstalling but no luck.

      Help!

          Finally got it working.

          I used AppCleaner to remove FM11 Pro files from the hard drive (except the document files I created),  then reinstalled the software.

          Also the knowledge base had a tip about checking to make sure that /.GlobalPreferences.plist contains the "AppleLocale" or "AppleLanguages" entry. But I'm not sure this applies as the files in questions were not missing.
