Any chance the border of these web viewers is positioned a pixel too high or low so that it touches/crosses a part boundary? (In layout mode, you can nudge objects around one pixel at a time by selecting them and then pressing an arrow key.)
Yes. I keep making this mistake . I had problems before. I always seem to match the viewer co-ordinates and size with the part co-ordinates and size which don't seem to co-inside. Still cant get my head around that!
Still got an issue with the trailing part. I have set the web viewer auto-resize anchors on left, right and bottom. Doesn't seem to be stretching to the bottom of the window though?
I found this snippet of information in Filemaker Help:
Objects set to resize behave as follows when displayed in different views:
• Form View: Objects are anchored to the sides of the window horizontally and to the sides of their enclosing layout part vertically.
• List View: Objects are anchored horizontally.
• Table View: Auto-resize settings have no effect.
This is the reason why my web viewer was not resizing.
My intentions was to capture mouse clicks so to prevent the native "No records are present" diaolg from triggering.
I found this post to be of some help:
