Title

Using IsEmpty in an If statement

Post

I'm trying to say if field 1 is empty, then use field 2, else use field 1.

So right now I have the field I'm creating set equal to

     = If ((IsEmpty(field 1)=1); field 2; field 1)

It's only working partially. If the field 1 is empty, it displays the number 1 instead of field 2, and if it is not empty it displays field 1, which is correct. How do I get it to display field 2 instead of 1??
