Title

Value showing in a calculation field on a blank form

Post

Hi-- any help with this is appreciated

I have 2 date fields and a calculation field.

     Field1 (TckDate): Date field

     Field2 (TckRes): Date field

     Field3 (AGE): Calculation field

I would like these 3 conditions applied to TckAge.

     1. if TckDate and TckRes are blank, then AGE is blank

     2. if TckDate is not blank but TckRes is blank, then AGE= TODAYS DATE - TckDate

     3. If TckDate and TckRes are not blank, then AGE= TckRes - TckDate

My formula reads: AGE= If (IsEmpty (TckRes ); Get (CurrentDate)-TckDate; TckRes-TckDate)

My problem: the calculation works, except when both fields are blank.  The number: 7352354 shows up in every empty record, and I need that field to remain empty if the date fields are empty.

     Is there something I'm missing?
