Sorry, I meant to say that I was able to export the records but couldn't work out how to set the first row to be the headings...
Google Maps provides an API (application programming interface) that allows this. It is not simple.
Google "google maps multiple site:forums.filemaker.com"
Google "google maps multiple filemaker"
Do the export and add the field names in a spreadsheet.
OR make a new record that sorts to top and add field names to each field.
OR export merge file or excel spreadsheet
Thanks David, one of the mapping links led me to fmMaps at http://proofgroup.com/blog/2010/feb/fmmap_now_available
The last update appears to be 2008 but it seems to work ok after upgrading from .fp7 to .fmp12 and integrating it into my file. I'm having a little difficulty in getting an exact marker position, as it seems to default to the nearest 'Google Place', I may be wrong though...
I'll have a look at your second idea "make a new record that sorts to top and add field names to each field." That sounds like the easiest method to me :)
