Title

Viewing multiple locations in a Mapping solution using Long/Lat data...

Post

     Hi,
Mapping locations using addresses and postcodes isn't a reliable way to find an exact position in the UK so I've been storing longitude/latitude data instead.

I extract this from Google Maps by zooming into a customer location, right clicking the map in the exact position I want to pinpoint and then choosing "What's here?" from the options. This places the long/lat data in the Search box.

     For example:
     51.500927,-0.124589

This string is then copied and pasted into our db file, which I realise is a bit tedious for one-off jobs but the majority of our business is made up of repeat customers so it's a worthwhile task.

     My problem is as follows:
I've created a Layout/Report which lists each CustomerName along with their Lat/Long string but I need to create a CSV export file, which can be manually imported into http://batchgeo.com

Any advice would be welcome. Also, does anybody know of a mapping solution that links directly to FM?

     Thanks
     Brian.
