      Hello,

I am new to FileMaker, but not to databases, so please excuse the simplicity of these questions. I am converting an Access database into FileMaker, hoping to make use of FileMaker Go. I have the need to store images in the database for inventory purposes. My hope was that I could use the camera on the iPad in conjunction with FileMaker Go to add these images to the database. Is there a way to do this?

thanks in advance for any assistance,

You can access an image within Filemaker Go in a field type that is called a 'Container'. You will need to set this up using Filemaker Pro or Pro Advanced. Filemaker Go will handle and display JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP (and more)  images in the container.
