      Post

      Hi...

      Is there anyway to get from within filemaker 10, the size of the web view window?

      Thanks,

      Joe

          Hi Joe

          1) give a name to the object by 'object info' ( under View when in layout mode ), something like: wv
          2) create a calculation field ( result text ) with this calc: GetLayoutObjectAttribute ( "wv" ; "bounds" )

            Daniele,

            I have a tab that is set up with a script that produces the web site that is lised in the associated record.  How/where do I put your formula so the screen resizes within the boundary of the tab window?  Here is the formula I have in the tab...

            If (PatternCount(Contact Management::Website ; "http://") or
            PatternCount(Contact Management::Website ;"https://"); Contact Management::Website;
            "http://"&Contact Management::Website)

            I want to reduce the web site view so it fits in the window of the tab without having to scroll width.  I don't mind scrolling down.

            Dave

              Hi DWG7

              I do not think that what you want is possible.

              'Get' is different from 'Set' : we have the GETLayoutObjectAttribute ( ) function, but we haven't the SETLayoutObjectAttribute ( )
