we found a solution to our problem. The browsers were run in the "compatibility mode" which triggers this message.
I have the same problem here, with an FM Webdirect application accessible on our intranet, but I cannot ask all the 2.000 people to modify the configuration in their browser (to uncheck the "Display intranet sites in Compatibility view").
I can only modify the web server configuration (IIS running on Windows Server 2012), do you know if there is a solution ?
the only other solution we found is the use of another browser, but our 160000 people company does not allow access to intranet sites via Firefox. Therefore, the only solution for us is the compat. view.

yes but we only have aprox. 45 web users and the rest uses the desktop version.
