When to use a table or not
It has been years since I have used FileMaker. I think the last version I owned was V.6 As I recall I used lookups between completely separate files. Now it seems that each file has multiple tables and I see I can share data between tables. I am assuming I can still perform lookups between files too. As I plan my project I am wondering what criteria should I use to determine which strategy to employ? What advantage is there to multiple tables over multiple files and vice versa?
