When designing a database, you will have several views of each "page" - one for data entry, one for printing, and maybe several for reports.
Preview will show only what is within the boundaries of the pagesize selcected in page setup.
You need a new layout for printing only.

I understand that, but if that was the case, wouldn't the entire page show up wrong? The header and top part of the form show up correct, and so does the box of the portal. The only thing that goes way to the left (and off the page) in preview is the columns IN the portal.
Anyone have any ideas?? I've been playing with it and can't figure it out. Only the info IN the portal is out of view, off to the left, everything else on the page (including the portal's frame) shows up just as it is in Browse mode.
Can you post a shot of the layout while it is in layout mode? Then another of it in preview mode?
You can use the upload an image controls below Post A Answer to do this.
Thanks for your willingness to help. I think I have it figured out. I'll post back if I'm wrong.
Hi Beginner, I'am having a problem very similar to yours: in preview mode the left part of a field is cut. So, how did you solved this? Thanks.
I'm trying to remember, and it's not coming to me.... it's been a month and a half since this issue. I will look at it again and see if it comes to mind!!
