The following features have been deprecated in FileMaker 14:
Note: Deprecation does not mean the immediate deletion of an API or technology. However, FileMaker recommends that you migrate your solution to use other APIs, technologies, or alternative features of the product because the deprecated interfaces may be deleted from a future version of the application.

- Insert QuickTime for container fields

The method DavidAnders talks about only imports data from the bento file, no layouts.
There is a migration tool that can be used, but there are some issue with newer OS, so you may have to sent your files to FM and let them convert them for you. Here is a link to another post with similar question, which has a link for the migration tool.
FM has some great Tech support people.
After you have time to learn FM I'm sure you would want to remake the database to take advantage of everything new FM14 has.
Thanks David and Stacy for your prompt responses. I'll study them a bit before proceeding so as to ensure preservation of my data. The layout is not as important, just a convenience. A couple of follow up questions if you don't mind: 1) Will FMP 10 import both the layout and data? 2) Can I simply export my data and import it into a an independently created FMP14 file (I'd be surprised if this was not a possible operation, but you never know...)? Thanks again.
The earliest version of FileMaker Pro I have on my machine is version 11. In FileMaker Pro 11, only the non-binary data is imported. That is, any Media fields would not be imported.
You can definitely export the Bento data to a CSV file, and then import the CSV file into a new FileMaker Pro 14 table. However, it would probably be best if you used the Bento Migration Tool as this would export the data (including the Media data) along with the layouts.
Thanks TSGal. Can't seem to find a link to download it. Can you please post one? The link on the downloads page gives this rest: "We're sorry, but the page you tried was not found. You may have typed the address (URL) incorrectly, or the link may be broken. You may find what you are looking for in the following links:"
NM - I found it. Thanks!
For those who are reading this link and need to download the Bento 4 to FileMaker Pro Migration Tool, it is available through Knowledge Base Article #12105:
