They are disabled. You have to put in your own button or script to close your window. This never made sense to me why they did this, but there it is...
Ouch. These buttons should be disabled in FM pro too - at development time. It's not clear to me that the default is that the close buttons work in development, but not runtime. I have almost completed development of a package with several windows. I used script triggers to do necessary tasks at window close time, or even prevent the window from closing when appropriate.
Had I known earlier, I would have implemented with close buttons out of the gate.
Oh well. Looks like some rainy days coming up to do some unplanned coding. :-)
If this is documented, I guess I didn't RTFM in it's entirety. :-)
