Calculate the latest date
Good Morning all - and best of the season to you.
I administer a database that, in addition to other things, tracks chronological movement of items through and approval work flow. There are four dates, each for the approval of a different group (brand, marketing, legal, etc.). I need to add a fifth date field that represents “final and complete” approval, which would be the same as the latest date among the other four (the sequence of travel through the approvers is not consistent). I can imagine a set of cases to return this, but it strikes me that there might be a “pyramid” logic, to return the latest of four date fields.
Can someone help with this?
