Title

Launching QuickTime Pro 7 in Mac OSX from a container field

Post

Hi,

I have a Container field that I had configured as external store in the database. I also had set it as interactive in the field data set of the layout. And finally, I have inserted a qt .mov file on it, as a qt movie.

The documentation say that when playing the movie at great size, (in another player different than that of the field), FileMaker Pro will use the default player the system has setted. I have QuickTime Pro 7 as the default player for .mov files.

But when I try on it, the FileMaker Pro selects another player, full screen, but with the size of the movie very small, depending on the original size of the field in the layout.

Is there a previous configuration step I must do for launching QuickTime Pro 7 instead of that player?

Thanks.
