"0" "Revert Record" error message displayed after every entry
MAC OS X v10.8.2
I cloned a 2012 database for use in 2013 and entered the first eight records without problems. But, starting with the ninth record and all that follow, I get a message pop-up that states "0" ,"Revert Record", "No", "Yes" after every field entry. It doesn't show if you click or ten between fields, but when you click outside of a field or margin, the message is displayed. This occurs on each new record. If I delete one of the previous eight "good" records and try to replace it, the message again appears. Nothing happens when you enter "Yes" but you cannot procede with our answering "Yes." HELP!
Previous databases from 2012, 2011 and 2010 are not affected.
Copying the 2013 database produces the same problem.
"0", "Revert Record", "No", "Yes"
What's shown appears to be a validation error dialog box with what might be a custom error message of "0". Go to Manage | Database | Fields and check for field validation settings. Since it's popping up after a set number of records, check the validation rules on any fields that auto-enter data--such as a serial number.
