      Summary

"Disconnect" of client fails in FMSA Admin console; client cannot be disconnected.

      Description of the issue

FileMaker Product(s) involved:FileMaker Pro 9.0v3, FileMaker Server 9.0v3.326 Operating System(s) involved:Win XP client, Mac OS 10.5.5 filemaker server Detailed description of the issue:In FileMaker's Java-based Server Admin Console, under the "clients" area, there is an option to  "Disconnect" a client listed.  This action has failed; in our FMSA Admin console, a client could not be disconnected. Meanwhile, for that user, an error repeatedly appeared when that user attempted to connect to FileMaker Server remotely: '"Maximum Number of Licensed Users is currently using this copy of FileMaker Pro....' But that user is actually not in conflict with any other licensed user.  The user did attempt numerous times to disconnect, wait, and try again -- to no avail.  Action: Disconnect client via FMSA 9 admin console.Expected Result:Client is disonnected, by the deadline specified.   Actual Result:Nothing.  Client remains listed under 'clients' in FMSA admin console. Exact text of any error message(s) that appeared: No error on server side, for 'disconnect' bug. Error on client side, during 'open remote': "Maximum Number of Licensed Users is currently using this copy of FileMaker Pro...."  Any workarounds that you have found:Restart FMSA.

Thank you for your post, and thank you for filling out the template.  These are common questions we ask.

Unfortunately, we still need some additional information....

Does this always happen?  If not, how many times has this happened?

Is it always the same client?

Is it always the same database?

Is there any information in the Event.log file (Library -> FileMaker Server) that is noteworthy?

Any additional information you can provide would be helpful.
