Summary

"networking stack could not be initialized"?

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

9.0v1

Operating system version

Mac OS X 10.8.5

Description of the issue

I recently transferred FM Pro 9.0v1 to a new Mac running OS X 10.8.5 (previously, I was running 10.5.8 with no problems).

After reinstalling FM Pro and re-registering (I had to call FM to have them transfer the license), I can't see the shared files on the host Mac  (it's also running FM Pro 9.0v1 under Mac OS X 10.5.8).

I've tried deleting the app on my Mac and reinstalling it with no luck. I even ran the FM Pro 9.0v3 updater, and that didn't help either.

I also checked the settings on the host Mac to make sure the user info matched.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

FileMaker cannot share or be a client of a file because the networking stack could not be initialized.
