Yes - it's the same issue, but it's not a matter of design change... The button is labeled with 'H O S T S' -> so please show the hosts and not the hosted files. It might be minor when one works only with one single server. Since we had customer calling us because of this, I'm thinking of a bug, not a design change... the 'old' way was much more clear
The silly 'flat design' makes it even worse - people won't realize the button. Apple seems to think the same way - the have buttons on their websites (shop)...
Thank you for you posts and comments.
In previous versions of FileMaker Go, customers complained that tapping Hosts would load all hosts before selecting the one desired host to display the files. Therefore, the design did change in FileMaker Go 14 to show files from the last host selected. If the user wants to select a different host, then as "Benjamin Fehr" pointed out (Thank you), tap the "Hosts" button in the upper left corner of the screen.
If you like the old way, please use our Feature Requests web form at:
All entries into this web form are read by Product Management and Development where they are then discussed and considered for possible implementation in a future release. Although I could copy your post(s) and paste them into the web form, there are a couple of questions asked on the form that only you can answer.
well.. I don't write a feature request - that would be like playing tennis, bouncing balls..
I don't think that this here is more clear (see screenshot)
hmm... forget about it. No chance to add a screenshot on iPad when creating a posting
