0xC0000005 Access Violation exception when using ODBC driver

Question asked by MayankSharma on Aug 5, 2011

Summary

0xC0000005 Access Violation exception when using ODBC driver

Product

FileMaker Server

Version

11 v3

Operating system version

Windows Server 2003

Description of the issue

We have a web page that queries an FM table with an SQL SELECT query and lists records on the page. The page is left open on the computer and has a meta tag to refresh it every 60 seconds.
We use the ODBC driver provided with the installation in xDBC folder.

After operating normally for a few days, the application will start failing.

None of the queries to FM, even from different applications will work after this exception, although the web server will server web requests normally.

We have to restart the aspnet_wp process to make it work again.
