      Description of the issue

      admin console unresponsive

      After logging in with remote access - brought up admin console with http:16001 with IE - Firefox and chrome.
      Logged in -  upper right hand of window  the Yellow wheel moving clock wise turns RED - spinning clock wise..

      Firewall turned off..

      Depress STATUS, Activity and other selection with no reply..

      moving RED wheel continues to move clock wise.

      Window is frozen..

      Any ideas..  built four similar systems - same trouble ..

               The "Datacenter" flavor of Windows Server 2012 is not tested or certified.

          System Requirements for FileMaker Server 13

                

               If the "remote access" is eliminated, then does the slowness occur when logged into the Admin Console locally?

                

               Does this issue occur if FileMaker Server 13 is installed on Windows Server 2012 Standard?

            I'm having this same issue with Server 2008 R2.

            I have tried many things... cleaned up all the java, uninstalled the antivirus...performed a straight-forward installation.

            It works fine with FM Server 13v1... as soon as updates are applied, I get the Red box at the top right corner, and the window freezes

            I've tried the Admin Console on IE 8, 9, 10, 11... Chrome, Safari... I've turned off the firewall. 

            Anyone else experiencing this?  Any suggestions??

              From the server, launch a browser and run:   http://localhost

              This should display "FileMaker Database Server Website".  If not, then the Database Server is not running.

              Next, in the browser, run:    http://localhost:16001

              This should display the "FileMaker Server 13 Start Page".  If so, click "Start Admin Console".

              After entering name and password, does the Admin Console start up?  If so, are there green checkmarks next to "FileMaker Server 13", "Web Server", "Web Publishing Engine", "ODBC/JDBC"?

              Answers to these questions will let me know where to focus next.
