Summary

Annoying scripting behavior

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

14

Operating system version

W 8.1

Description of the issue

It would be easier if I can attach a video. The annoying behavior is that when I am editing a step which is anywhere on the screen but the last line, once I do the editing, that step moves down to the last line making me having to scroll down to see the next steps. Very annoying. That does not happen on any older version. The screen stays as it is, unless you scroll it. The other annoying issue is when I click on a step to change its field and the field I want is the next down on the table, that field shows last on the pop up screen. If I try to double click  to bring it into the script steps, the moment a click on it, the screen scrolls down one line and the second click lands on the last line, the wrong field. Very annoying. And that does not happen on older versions, either.

Steps to reproduce the problem

See above

Expected result

Script screen should not move the moment a step has been edited

Actual result

every time a step is edited, once is edited, it moves to the last line making the user lose visual track of the script.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

No error message, it is a behavior annoyance.

Workaround

Just have to be very conscious of the behavior not to make a mistake or lose track of the scripting.
