      Summary

app launched sent to background, bring to front scripts inaccessible

      Product

      FileMaker Pro

      Version

      11v2

      Operating system version

      Mac 10.6.4

      Description of the issue

FMP is not running: 2-click a file to open it, and while the app is launching send it to the background; after file has opened in background, bring app to front: script buttons do not run scripts, and in script manager scripts are inaccessible. Quit and relaunch, this time leave app in front until app fully loads. Normal behavior now.

      Steps to reproduce the problem

      see above

      Expected result

app opens file, scripts should be accessible.

      Actual result

      see above.

          Thank you for your post.

I am unable to replicate the problem.  I double-click a FileMaker Pro 11 database file, but the file never displays as the FileMaker Pro 11 icon is bouncing in the Dock commanding it needs attention.  Once I select it, the file loads.  I can then use scripts, script manager, buttons, etc.  This occurs the same for me on Mac OS X 10.6.4 and Mac OS X 10.5.8.

Please let me know what else to try here to replicate the problem.
