Check with the folks that produced this plug in and see if it is compatible with Filemaker 12.
Thanks for the quick reply. I checked the IDAutomation website and couldn't fine a mention of Filemaker 12 Pro Advanced. But when I print to my HP2600dn printer they print ok. It's when I print to my new HP451dn and my HP cp1525w that the barcodes do not show. I just checking to see if the problem was with my use or understanding of my new version of Filemaker.
I recommend describing this issue in much more detail.
What is it that you are printing when you get the results shown in your screen shot?
Is the barcode in a container field or is this a text field with a bar code font? Or is it something else?
Thank you for the post.
FileMaker didn't design the IDAutomatic FileMaker plugin. If the plugin is not working properly, then the best people to contact would be the creators of the software.
I did a brief browse through IDAutomation.com's forums and found this:
The company indicates that the plugin should be compatible with FileMaker Pro 12 and Windows 7. I did not see specific confirmation for Mac OS X 10.8.2.
To contact the developers of the plugin visit the following URL:
Since this is also related to printing the final product, if you first print to PDF does the print output quality suffer in the same way?
Have you tried printing from more than one printer?
Thank you for the response.
If one printer works and not another, then that points to the printer's driver. Might want to check the manufacturer's web site for the most up to date driver for your printer. Even if the drivers are completely up to date, some users have reported success after reinstalling their printer drivers or using an earlier driver version.
