bento backup files corrupted - URGENT

bento backup files corrupted - URGENT

      Description of the issue

Hi, My Bento backup files from a certain date are corrupted and Bento will not open if I 'revert to backup', I then have to rename the bento.bento...... so it starts from a fresh. Backup files from prior to october 09 will revert without any problems, but all of the october onwards files are corrupted.  So questions are: 1.  Can the backup files be'de-corrupted', if so how????2.  What would have corrupted these files in the first place???  Any help would b greatly appreciated.

          Thank you for your post.

I don't know if the corrupted files can be fixed.

There are too many factors that cause file corruption.  Some of these include power surges when writing to the file, bad sector on disk, memory problems, etc.

I would like to see a good backup file and your most recent backup that is not working.  I have sent you a private message (top of this page - right side - X Messages) with instructions where to send those files.

In the future, please post your Bento questions to the Bento forum at http://forums.bento.com
