Thank you for the post.
iOS 6.0.2 is not released to the public yet. Does this same behavior occur under iOS 6.0.1? What do you mean by "Kiosk mode?" Is this a FileMaker runtime? How was the file opened on the device? Also, what generation of iPad are you using?TSFalconFileMaker, Inc.
Thank you for your answer. The same behavior occurs under iOS 6.0.1. Kiosk mode is like a runtime mode that can also be displayed (and used) on touch devices and comes with certain (definable) restrictions to the end user. One great feature is that all taskbars can be removed to give the user the impression he's using a native iOS App.
the black bar I described (which exactly matches the size of the original "Filemaker Go" bar on top of the screen) occurs on iPad 3, iPad 4 and the iPad mini (I didn't try it on any other iPads). It does, however, not occur on any iPhone used (4S, 5).
Your help is appreciated
Thank you for the prompt reply.
I was able to replicate this on an iPad running iOS 6.0.1 using a Kiosk mode runtime. I have forwarded your report to Development and Testing for review.TSFalconFileMaker, Inc.
