Blue help lines appear unnecessarily in layout mode when using SHIFT

Operating system version

Description of the issue

Not really a bug, but a request for unnecessary complexity in layout mode.

When dragging an object in layout mode whilst holding SHIFT to limit the movement to the horizontal (or vertical) axis the blue help-lines appear in *both* axes.

The help-lines in the vertical (or horizontal) axis (in the direction which we are not moving) are unnecessary and distracting and needn't been shown, so that one can concentrate on the useful blue help-lines.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Place several objects on a layout.
Drag an object in layout mode whilst holding SHIFT.

Expected result

Only blue lines should appear in the direction in which one is dragging.

Actual result

Blue lines appear in both axes horizontal and vertical.
