Summary

Bug applying Small Caps style to tab panels

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

14

Operating system version

Mac OSX 10.10

Description of the issue

When a smallcaps or uppercase style is applied to the font in a tab panel, the text gets truncated. I have the Tab Width set to "Width of Widest Label."

Steps to reproduce the problem

Create a new tab control
Create a new tab with label over 10 characters
Set Tab Width to "width of widest label"
Click OK
Observe that the entire tab label is displayed
Click on the tab label in layout mode
Change text style to "SmallCaps" or "Uppercase"
Observe that label is truncated.

Expected result

Tab will expand to full width of label.

Actual result

Label text is truncated

Workaround

Apply desired formatting in the tab label instead of applying it as a style to the tab.
