Summary

Buttons change width immediately after entering it in text mode

Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

12 v4

Operating system version

Win 7 x64

Description of the issue

Unlike previous versions of FM, the width of a button in v12 changes to the minimum possible, as soon as I use the Text tool and click the button.

This 'feature' rather bothers me - who please uses buttons of all different widths within the same layout for similar functions??

Even copying the button and then re-write the text does not work anymore for the same reason, and without noticeable overhead (recover originally planned width, recover position).

Is there somewhere a hidden switch that can turn off this nonsense? In application settings, I did not find anything.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Open any 'old' solution containing buttons.
Text click the button.
Done.
For all satiety it is impossible to revert this resizing - Ctrl+Z achieves absolutely nothing.

Expected result

I text click the button NOT CHANGING it's size unless i type enough to cause a text overflow.

Actual result

The button resizes to mininmum width possible considering actual text.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

No error info.

Workaround

Whe the left indent of the paragraph is set to 1 pt (minimum indent possible) the size of the button does not change when text clicking it.
